With the first day of winter fast approaching us and the temperatures definitely dropping this is the perfect time to look at your skincare regime.
Every season has its strains when it comes to the skin but I think winter overall is the most problematic.

My top tips to keep your skin happy this winter would be…
1. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate
Of course, keeping the skin hydrated and protected is the most important thing when battling the elements. Going from the cold into centrally heated houses puts extreme stress on the skin.
Using a good quality hyaluronic acid serum twice a day is going to help the skin retain its moisture. HA holds up to 1,000 times its own weight in water and acts as a sponge so the skin is able to hold onto the moisture that is applied. If your HA levels are low the skin moisture will evaporate quickly.
